Campaigns that matter: Sofa Surfer

Off Centre wanted help promoting a short film on the issue of hidden homeless and young people. This powerful short film was finished just before Christmas and we saw an opportunity to get its message to a London-wide audience. We launched a campaign web page featuring the trailer and gained the attention of the BBC, The Guardian and local Hackney papers.

"Your team is doing a great job."

Accessible websites: The Games Through Our Eyes

Heart n Soul's media team wanted to create a website about the Paralympics for people with learning disabilities. We worked alongside them from the start to come up with the ideas, plan the site and create the content. Salt Design provided the technical know-how and we worked together to get the look and feel right.

"It looks great! Well done to everyone."

Making an impact through video: Peabody's Net Worx project

Peabody wanted to promote its work in digital inclusion to staff and stakeholders. We were commissioned to tell the story of their Networx project in a three-minute video that could be shown at events and promoted online. We planned, shot and edited a compelling short video that really highlights the impact of their work.

"The film was a great success at the away day."

Africa's health in African hands: AMREF annual review

AMREF was in the process of rebranding and needed a report that could span the old and new AMREFs. Africa’s health in African hands was a theme that made the most of words and images to convey a proud, confident African-based charity. We produced an interlinked annual review and mini review to cater to AMREF's different audiences.

"Prompt work...good feedback. Have already recommended Poached to an organisation we work with."

Download them both from AMREF's homepage.

Conversations on the Heath: the art of promotion

Hampstead Heath artist Martin Atkinson wanted to find a way of promoting his artwork that would fit the subtlety and serenity of his oils and sketches. We created a simple, beautiful portfolio website last year to let his paintings speak for themselves. For his exhibition in May he wanted a personal feel and we created flyers and posters to fit with his website and his work.

Hackney Council needed professional copywriting, fast. They also wanted to make sure there was an authentic young person's voice throughout the programme for this flagship 13-19s festival. Poached Creative worked with several young people to get their views on how they wanted to be communicated with. Our young writers penned most of the entries, with editing from our experts.

Websites to sell solutions: HR Management Partners

HR can be a dry subject so we helped HR Management Partners identify why businesses would need and value their services. Using no jargon, strong keywords and a reassuring tone, we made sure this was communicated on every page of their website.

"The service provided was very tailored to my business. I can certainly recommend [their] services.”
