Poached Creative and Mediorite are working in partnership to help Camden Council's youth project board plan, film and promote a documentary.
About the client
Camden Council is responsible for managing local borough-based services including housing, education, policies and leisure. It is also in charge of commissioning organisations to work on projects within the local community.
Working in partnership with Mediorite, Poached Creative designed and developed a training programme for young people from Camden to support them with creating a documentary. Putting the young people at the centre of the project, we've helped them develop the narrative, communications plan and technical skills to tell the story of their involvement in creating The Hive - a brand new youth hub in their area.
The Hive opened on 12 November 2015 with marketing materials using designs from the young people themselves. The youth project have completed a 15-minute documentary and 12 mini films about their involvement in the project, worked with a range of creative professionals and visited BBC Broadcasting House. Read Catherine's blog about the project.
